Sacrament request forms: possibility of adding attachments
Katia ROUSSEL (SECRÉTARIAT JLM)
Good morning,
Would it be possible to create the possibility of adding attachments to a sacrament request? example: birth certificates attached to a marriage or baptism request.
Thanks
Katia Roussel

Hello, one method for associating attachments is to add, in a group, a custom field such as a web link, which points to an online storage space.

Also extend it to registrations in a group or an event

Digital document attached to the person
Hortense Enoria - Paroisse Redon
We receive baptism extracts (or photos from Catholic family booklets) of children who are preparing for First Communion.
Would it be possible to link these digital documents to their person on Enoria? We could thus easily find them for the following sacraments (Confirmation...).

Add attachments for baptism and wedding records
Hélène BOGERS
Good morning
It would be useful for us to be able to attach the birth certificate of the future baptized person, the baptism certificate of the godparents, this would avoid the paper file, especially when everything is sent by email by the families.
The same goes for the pieces to be produced for a wedding.
But maybe these attachments would burden the system too much?
regards
Helene Bogers

Enoria does not store documents. However, you can, in an additional person field, add a link that points to the document stored on a drive

Thanks for your relevant answer...
This is one of the reasons why we expect and strongly hope that the HIDDEN additional fields option will actually be activated. It does not seem ideal to us that the person should see the link to the parish drive appear in their profile.
A perspective of evolution?
Thanks!

Thanks for your response. But the aim of Enoria is precisely to centralize information in a single safe place, without having to multiply confidential documents in other apps/software of all kinds...
Is this evolution not possible?

Hortense MEKRI: Document storage is not Enoria's vocation. Imagine hundreds of thousands of scanned documents. There is a demand to be able to make links to your own file storage systems that are under consideration.

P. Raphaël Cournault There is indeed the management of hymns in Enoria, which does not seem to me to be the purpose of a management system either... so why not document management?

Good morning,
Answers, especially with regard to scores, have been provided here: https://roadmap.enoria.app/developpements-demandes/p/attacher-une-partition-a-un-chant

Or the baptismal records for people not baptized on the parish

I take advantage of this topic to ask a question please: why is it not possible to enter approximate dates on the Christian life sections of people? Very often we are told “it was in X year, maybe May/June/July but I'm sure it was nice when I look at the photos!” Also, for requests for copies of a baptism certificate, we make use of this partial information.
Thank you

Hello, I am sharing with you our way of doing things:
We use Outlook email and therefore the One Drive application (the cloud/cloud) I have a large MARRIAGE folder then ANNEE sub-folders and finally a folder by fiancés, I store everything I receive by email or scans of paper docs there. It is possible to retrieve the links from these folders. You can even consider putting an access code in it for security. I paste this link from the file into the notes/comments area of the sacrament of couple. Only people who have access to the sacrament will see the link AND only the people to whom you have given the code will access the OneDrive folder;)
