Particle typography
Vianney de CIBEINS
According to usage in France, the particles of proper nouns in “Le, La, Les, L'” are always uppercase, while “de” remains in lower case. (from La Porte, from L'Estoile...). Right now everything is lowercase.
Also, it seems to be missing the particle “La” and “Les” (“of La” exists) in the particle dropdown menu, while “Le” and “L'” are present; I don't know if these cases are common.

It is impossible to put the particle in lower case when a surname precedes the particle or when there is a 2nd particle.
For example: GALOUZEAU from VILLEPIN and VILLOUTREYS from BRIGNAC

When the particle is between two surnames, it must be able to be lowercase. For example, go from “DE LA PORTE DU THEIL'” to “DE LA PORTE DU THEIL”

Good morning
This is not entirely accurate: my great-grandfather, E. M. de la L., had moreover had the civil status acts concerning him corrected by court, to read “the” instead of “The”.

Le, La are not particles they are part of the name, nobody in France would put them in the « particle » field

I think it's not exactly that. Mr. Jean de La Fontaine, for example, has the name “La Fontaine” and the particle “of”. We should order it in alphabetical order of names using the letter L and not F. In bibliographical standardization, we would say that the name is: “La Fontaine”, and that the rejected part (we often talk about first name, but it's a bit more complicated) is “Jean de”. Enoria should capitalize La Fontaine (Jean de LA FONTAINE)... But I know people called De La XXX, and who rate their name at XXX, which is a mistake, but they are convinced otherwise. In short, it's a bit endless.

Bjr, for Breton surnames in two like “Le Berre”, “Le Cam”, it's not a particle like “De La Roche...”

Béatrice CHÉREL: In this case just leave the particle field empty and put everything in the Last Name field

Let me add that when entering a person, the particle being dissociated from the patronymic cell, it remains lowercase, which is not the case, for example, when entering a mother's maiden name (when entering a child) and where everything is capitalized.
