Feedback of group data in activities
Hervé GUENOT
In the various requests, I understood that the link between groups and activities was relatively “weak”... nevertheless, they are “logically” grouped under the same concept in Enoria and an activity cannot exist without a group.
My use case is as follows: we manage catechesis in Enoria, we have a group bringing together all the registrants. Cat groups are formed from recurring activities because they change every year (but basically the problem would be the same with several groups).
Logically, parental authorization to leave (alone, accompanied or not) and image rights information are stored at the group level because they depend on catechesis. Unfortunately, they do not go back to the level of activities, so my catechists do not have access to them (except to give them access to the full group or to re-enter this data).
To solve this problem, I see two possible options:
1) would it be possible to bring up the additional fields of the group in the activity? :
- for the people in the group the value comes from the group
- for people outside the group, the value is entered when registering in the activity
2) the concept (1) can be complex from a user experience point of view, in which case, would it be possible to add an option to restrict activity to group members, so the data could come back from the group?

Show additional group fields in activities

It would be interesting to be able to display additional group fields in the activities contained in that same group.
In the same way that you can have additional person fields displayed in a group: you could imagine having additional group fields appear in an activity.
Concrete use case:
Let's imagine a group of KT CM1, with a number of additional fields relating to the registration of children. They are divided into various regular activities (small groups of KT) CM1a, CM2b, etc. The CM1a KTchist is given only access to the CM1a activity (in fact, he has no reason to see the other children who are not in his small group).
Problem: he does not see some additional fields that could be important: Can the child go home alone? Can it be transported by car? This information contained in the group is not visible from the activity. We must therefore give him access to the whole group.
Of course, you can also create additional fields specific to the activity, but that means copying the information for each child involved in the activity... it seems counterintuitive, in the case where the info is already at the group level.
Thank you for reading and supporting this post;)

For our part, we have created additional fields attached to the person (and not to the groups, but can appear in them if necessary) for photo authorizations, trips and other important information necessary when registering for the cat.
These fields are returned upon re-registration, which renews the parents' consent from one year to the next.

Additional fields from a group that can be displayed in an activity in this group
Odile BERNARD
Attention, request different from “Additional fields of an activity that can be displayed in the group table” (it was wrongly deleted previously).
Details of the request are attached. The idea of being able to use the additional fields created within a group in activities created within that group.
