Name of the woman after marriage
terminated
Guillaume DEVEAUX
Good morning,
We don't ask what name the woman will want to take after she gets married. By default, in 99% of cases, she will be attributed to her husband's.
Can we imagine that when the sacrament is validated, the name of the woman and the name of the household will be updated automatically?
Or better, have a validation window with the main possibilities, and “no” if you are in an exceptional case that requires manual entry.
Thank you

I have the impression that this post has been developed, because now it seems mandatory to indicate the woman's last name at the time of the validation of the sacrament.
This bothers me because I would like to validate the sacrament even without having this information.
In addition, it seems to me that this information could be requested in the marriage file (optional), even if it means being able to indicate it after the wedding.

Hello, with the same idea, can we automatically merge the homes of the two fiancés once the marriage is celebrated?

Agnès de LA HOSSERAYE: Good evening, it seems to me that your request is different from the one expressed above, so I invite you to file a different development request instead.
Guillaume DEVEAUX
Élodie Massa it is certainly different, but complementary. It goes in the same direction of automating the new household: single household, same name.
Joëlle HORVILLE
Hello, isn't it the civil marriage that triggers the name change?
Guillaume DEVEAUX
Joëlle HORVILLE: yes, but couples we marry religiously are obligatorily married. The law requires it.
In 90% of cases the civil marriage takes place on the same day as the religious wedding.
