I am not sure that this is a good thing.
Rather, the best practice is for catechumens to be entered in the catechumenate module first (by using the module's online registration form, so the catechumens do the typing work for you). That's when you assign them one of the preparation groups, because there may be several (the one for teens, the one for adults, maybe different groups for the confirmands,...) and Enoria automatically puts them in the group.
The catechumenate module makes it possible to follow the path of catechumens from stage to stage, while the preparation group makes it possible to manage the various meetings (with room reservation and attendance management) in a regular activity and a possible retreat in a one-off event.
