[Regular Activity] Have a color for absentees excused in the attendance check
Michèle GUILMONT
Presence/absence in a group or activity.
Green for now, Red for absent, and White for undetermined (not yet filled), it's super useful!
We would also need to note the excused absences... in Orange for example.
Thank you so much.

it would indeed be very useful to be able to add an 'excused' option. It would allow better follow-up for children in the café, for example.

To manage the presence of groups of children who leave an activity in a staggered manner (parents come to pick them up over an hour and a half, for example), I need to know who is still present... and who has left! To always know how many children I have left. A third color would also be very useful to me.

Following the new version in August 2022, red and white no longer appear in the list (detail) of absentees!
Those who are still undetermined are not differentiated from those who are absent. It's a shame!!!
This allowed me to quickly see which catechists had not yet entered his presences-absences and to relaunch them if necessary.

Following the new version in August 2022, red and green became pale. It's a shame. If you add orange, it will be difficult to differentiate it from red.
Chantal CARON
Yes, an additional color would be useful for excused absentees.

It would be even better if the participants could fill in this information themselves!

Aymeric FOURNIER: what information? that they are absent?
Aymeric FOURNIER
P. Raphaël Cournault: here we are talking about displaying a nice informative thumbnail... but it would be great if each guest could answer “Yes” “No” “Maybe” online... but it would be great if each guest could answer online “Yes” “No” “Maybe”.
Today, we are forced to use SportEazy (an application for sports teams) for Mass Servants meetings... so, at each event, the members of the Mass Serving Team receive an email.
“are you available?”
YES/NO
The user clicks on one or the other and that's it... It's super efficient and it would be so good to have it on enoria.
For information, on Enoria you can configure a registration email sending following an event... on the other hand, on the user side, you must:
- click on the email
- enter your identification email
- wait to receive the email
- go to his inbox
- click and choose the member of the household concerned
- scroll all the way down to say “Yes I am registering”)
For me, it is completely unacceptable for the user. I doubt that this function is often used (especially since it is not easy to implement for the admin)

Aymeric FOURNIER: it's very pretty but out of 500 member parishes, how many send an email to the mass servants with a yes or no answer for the meeting? Be careful that Enoria does not become an unmaintainable gas factory.

Aymeric FOURNIER: by the way, this request deserves another dev request ticket
Aymeric FOURNIER
P. Raphaël Cournault: Indeed, whence the interest of this Canny, it is then up to the product owner (you) to make the decision. I'm just telling you how we work and in real life it's not only the mass servants who have the use of it... there are several groups in the parish that work like that. And if what I hear is true, parishes have a lot of trouble getting feedback when there are events, in addition people often respond at the last moment, so the logistics are not easy.
I totally agree with you that not everything has to be done.

Aymeric FOURNIER: For your request to respond to a regular activity do not hesitate to write another development request, I will restrict the current request (this ticket) to: have a color for the absent excused. The other idea is interesting but needs to be set aside
Denise VANBERTEN
Yes it seems interesting to me and it's visual and pretty!
